NCCA Carpet Cleaners

National Carpet Cleaners AssociationIt may surprise consumers that the carpet cleaning industry is not yet regulated.  Therefore this allows unskilled, unqualified carpet cleaners to trade.

From a customer prospective how can you protect your carpets, upholstery and fine fabrics from carpet cleaning companies that have not yet received training and the skills to safely and efficiently clean your carpets and upholstery?

Who are the NCCA?

The National Carpet Cleaners Association is the only nationally recognised trade association dedicated to the cleaning of carpets, hard flooring and soft furnishings.  NCCA members are trained professionals and can undertake work in many industry related areas.

Established in 1968, the National Carpet Cleaners Association is the only independent UK trade body dedicated to the cleaning of carpets, hard flooring, upholstery, curtains and other soft furnishings. It is now nationally recognised by government, media, industry and commerce as the authoritative source of information and advice on all aspects of the industry.

“The dual aim of the NCCA is safeguarding the reputation of the industry and protecting its customers, whether in the domestic or commercial sphere.

Only after successful completion of the NCCA training course may the applicant become a fully accredited member of the NCCA and be eligible to add the coveted logo to their company name.

In addition to the compulsory training, a series of advanced courses, workshops, branch meetings, technical roadshows and other events have been designed to keep experienced members up to date with the increasingly sophisticated science of cleaning.

The National Carpet Cleaners Association exists to raise standards of expertise and knowledge among carpet, floor and upholstery cleaners, and thereby to protect the public and their furnishings from cleaners who are not properly trained.” {Quote from the NCCA}
